Pinnacle Community Services Hosts 12th Annual Purple Ribbon Walk & Art Show on October 2
Community event raises awareness during Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Niagara Falls, N.Y. — September 24, 2025 — Pinnacle Community Services (PCS) will host its 12th Annual Purple Ribbon Walk & Art Show on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 4:30 p.m., beginning at the corner of 3rd and Old Falls Street in Niagara Falls. The community is invited to walk in solidarity with survivors and raise awareness about domestic violence during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
“Every purple ribbon represents a story—and a community that refuses to look away,” said Caleigh Skinner, Director of Domestic Violence at Pinnacle Community Services. “When we walk together, we send a powerful message: safety is a right, support is available, and healing is possible.”
The walk will be followed by a Kickoff Event at The Archives Pub on 3rd, offering participants an opportunity to connect, reflect, and continue the conversation in support of survivors. Drinks specials and appetizers will also be available.
Show Your Support
Beginning September 23rd, community members and businesses can purchase Purple Ribbon yard signs to display their commitment to ending domestic violence. Signs are available through the event page or by contacting Sarah McEvoy at 716-285-6984 ext. 127 or at smcevoy@pinnaclecs.org.
Event t-shirts will also be available, featuring original artwork created by a survivor and their child, making each shirt a symbol of resilience and hope.
