Family & Children’s to honor Award Recipients at Annual Luncheon on June 15, 2016

Celebrating 121 years of continuous service to the Niagara community, Family & Children’s Service of Niagara will host its Annual Luncheon & Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at the Four Points by Sheraton, 7001 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, starting at 12:00 noon.

The following awards and recognitions will be presented:
Jeff Lesinski will receive the E. Marie Davis Volunteer Service Award.   A member of the Board of Directors since 2001, Mr. Lesinski serves on the Agency’s Collaboration and Technology Committee.   Mr. Lesinski is the Director of Computer Network Administration at Trocaire College.
Sara Carella will receive the Staff Leadership Award.  Ms. Carella, the Director of Finance, recently celebrated her thirtieth anniversary with the agency.
Carolyn Smith will receive the Courage to Change Award, which is presented to a consumer who has faced challenges, overcome obstacles and is a positive role model for others facing similar challenges.
Kelly Garrow, Membership Manager of the Girl Scouts of WNY, will receive the Kozak Community Service Award.  Ms. Garrow is being recognized her collaborative efforts in providing community service opportunities for local girl scouts that benefit others in the community.
Ann F. Monroe, President of the Health Foundation of Western and Central New York will receive the Legacy Builder Award in recognition of her leadership in support of services that improve the quality of life for children and families in the Niagara community.
